Austin Alexander is a rising art star. Ranked as one of the top competing slam poets in the world, he represented the state of Hawaii at the 2010 Individual World Poetry Slam under the alias, "Mountain Emsee". Since then he has lectured at the University of Hawaii and shared the stage with hip-hop artists such as Grouch, Eligh, Scarub, and Luckyiam (of Living Legends), Zion I, Abstract Rude, Myka 9, Aceyalone, Jennifer Johns, Angelo Moore (of Fishbone) and many more. His recent poetic work is comprised of multiple collaborations soon to be released along with a very special film project he is spearheading with renowned screenwriter/producer Gary Goldman and the award-winning actor, author, hip-hop artist & best-selling poet, Saul Williams.
